Sea Dancer
For the 2014 season, we are introducing our C&C 33 Sea Dancer! Fast, lightweight performance cruisers, C&C 33s have the aesthetic and sailing capabilities we seek. She is sure to make a splash in her new home at Chicago's 31st Street Marina, where we will keep her on a slip.
We found Sea Dancer in Racine last summer when one of the craftsmen we work with, Jimmy Carolla, pointed her out to us. She'd been damaged in a boatyard accident, when another boat fell against her, leaving an ugly crack in her hull.
"You know," Jimmy said, "I can fix that. And, otherwise, the boat is in impeccable condition." Jimmy is known as one of the best fiberglass men on the Great Lakes. It took him over a month, but the results are impressive. Sea Dancer is stunning. We have photos of the restoration below. While we haven't had a chance to do a proper photo shoot yet, we have some additional shots of the boat below. Her cabin is the most richly appointed of all our boats.
We will have to do a christening sometime early in the season. Sea Dancer is going to be a very popular boat.
