Aquavit - Morgan 33
Aquavit is a fine example of a Charlie Morgan classic. She began life named "Bad News", a racer out of Michigan City. When she moved to Monroe, her sleek lines and low freeboard marked her as one of the prettiest boats in Chicago.
We fully restored and rechristened her over the 2011 season. She spent 2012 and 2013, based in Door County, Wisconsin, where she cruised the waters of Green Bay, from Sturgeon Bay to Washington Island.
Since 2014, she has been back home in Monroe Harbor, where she resumed her life as a day sailor. Fast and incredibly responsive under sail and handles heavy weather and waves like a champ. Being our only tiller boat, Aquavit is a thrill to sail. Her classic lines
