Paper Tiger - Morgan 42
Paper Tiger, our Morgan 42, is a fast, responsive and comfortable classic cruiser. Emerald green with a slender profile, low freeboard, bow and stern overhangs, and graceful sheer, she offers exhilarating sailing to match her eye-turning lines. Paper Tiger is a stout boat and comfortable in a wide range of conditions and able to handle a good deal of weather. In 2022 Paper Tiger went through an extensive overhaul of the keel and hull structure at Canal Street Yacht yard. Her keel was dropped and refurbished and many of her stringers were completely replaced, and the keel was then reattached. She has brand new floors and is as stiff as ever below the water line.
You’ll appreciate her large cockpit and the spacious cabin when you bring guests or plan on spending time aboard. She is a great boat for entertaining and has been known to act as a fantastic swimming platform on many a hot Chicago summer days.
Paper Tiger has recently undergone some extensive improvements. The boat has had synthetic Teak sole added to the cockpit and the cabin Teak and Holly flooring has been completely reconditioned. We have also added new port light windows and replaced existing windows with sleek tinted polycarbonate.
For cruising, whether for a three- or four-day sailing escape, or for longer cruises, Paper Tiger offers both space and speed advantages over smaller boats. From Chicago, you can cruise to any southern Lake Michigan destination.
