We keep Aquavit, our Morgan 33, in Door County, Wisconsin.
For a weekend, or a week, you can hop from one quaint harbor town to the next, enjoying fish boils and cherry wine. You can anchor off pristine beaches and explore remote islands in one of Chicago’s favorite getaway areas.
All of this comes as part of your standard lease share. The same credits you use to sail the boat you choose in Chicago can also be applied to Aquavit.
Two boats.... two ports.... one lease...! Why settle for less?
In 2013 her Aquavit's home port will be the Wave Pointe marina in Little Sturgeon Bay. A luxurious marina, Wave Pointe proved to be a big hit with our customers in 2012. Wave Pointe offers a bar, pool and restaurant, as well as beautiful shower facilities for those who want to sleep on the boat. The white fish the restaurant serves is caught fresh daily in the waters of Green Bay on a boat named Lars. The resort's rooms, complete with kitchens and hot tubs, are impressive and reasonably priced.
Wave Pointe's primary advantage is its location. Less than a 30 minutes drive from the harbor towns along the northern part of the county, Wave Pointe feels like remote. The stars at night are hard to compare.
For a change of pace, we are also considering putting Aquavit in the Sister Bay marina after Labor Day.
